Denis SASSOU-N'GUESSO University, headquartered in Kintele, in the northern suburbs of Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo), was created by law n ° 37-2013 of December 30, 2013.

It officially launches its activities, as its first academic year 2020-2021, with three institutions: 

  1. The Institute of Geographical Sciences, Environment and Development (ISGEA);        
  2. The Higher Institute of Architecture, Urban Planning, Building and Public Works (ISAUBTP);        
  3. The Faculty of Science (FS).      

This Call is not launched in conformity with regulatory procedure, mindful of the urgency of the situation, and which is addressed both to candidates of Congolese nationality (living on the national territory or those of the Diaspora) as well as to foreign candidates. Given the urgency related to the need to prepare for the official 2020-2021 academic year at the Denis SASSOU-N'GUESSO University, pending the appointment of the rector's team, the duties of the latter shall be provisionally performed by the Steering Committee of related activities, in accordance with the decree establishing it.

1. Composition of the file

The application file shall comprise the following documents:

  • An application1 (handwritten or typed) addressed to the Vice-Chancellor;
  • A copy of birth certificate;
  • A certificate of nationality;
  • A criminal record;
  • A copy of a valid identity document;
  • Two passport size colour photos;
  • A certified copy of each reference diploma;
  • A resume;
  • A referenced list of publications;
  • A certificate of affiliation to a research institution; 

Each processed file shall be evaluated on 33. The results of this technical evaluation shall be files in a report classifying the candidates' files in order of merit, then transmitted to the Vice-Chancellor, for arbitration within the Recruitment Commission , taking into account the quota allocated to each discipline.

1On the application addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, the candidate must specify the desired status (Contractual - for retired candidates -, Permanent or Part time).

2. Submission of application files

The candidate shall submit the physical version of his/her file to the Secretariat of the Steering Committee.

3. Hiring contract

Successful candidates shall sign an employment contract with the UDSN, in which their duties and obligations shall be specified, and particularly their commitment to guarantee their availability to make Brazzaville their first residence.

4. Evaluation

The Denis SASSOU-N'GUESSO University of Kintele is affiliated to the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) and promotion to successive ranks of Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer and Full Professor of its teachers is done within the peer review framework.

Any candidate, regardless of his degree obtained in another university, is recruited as Assistant Lecturer, the time to submit his equivalence or homologation file to CAMES.

Should the request receives the favourable opinion of CAMES, the person concerned shall be immediately promoted to the corresponding higher rank.
